Arming and Departing for the Quest
An Arthurian tapestry depicting the Knights of the
Round Table preparing for their expedition. Against a background
of a dark and perilous forest, the ladies of the Court at Cemelot
are helping to arm the mounted knights. Designed by Edward Burne-Jones
and woven by Morris & Co around 1895.
