Shipping and Payment information

 

Security:

We know one of the main concerns about shopping on the internet is security of your personal information. With that in mind we make you this guarentee: Since all credit card companies only hold you Responsible for the first $50.00 of non-authorized use of your cards, if through proven use of this site someone uses your credit card illegally, we will pay that $50.00. Payment:

    Payment in full is required before an order will be shipped.
    Special orders and Custom Orders:
    A 50% payment must be received prior to scheduling.
    Full payment is due prior to shipping.
     
    We accept Visa, M/C, Amex, Discover, personal check or money order. Please NEVER send cash through the mail. Make checks to Postgate Jewelers.
     
     

Shipping Charges:

Iems with the exception of tapestries, up to $500 will be
sent 2nd-3rd day USPS with a tracking number for $5.00.
On items over $500 as well as tapestries and foreign orders, we will calculate the shipping and let you know.
No C.O.D

Note:

Credit card purchases must be sent to the billing address of
the card. All credit card transactions are screened to detect fraud by our credit card fraud service. Due to the increase of these attempts we may ask that you send payment by certified check, money order or cashier's check

 

Delivery:

One to two weeks for items in stock, Up to eight weeks for
items that are out of stock.

Special orders average four weeks but may take six months or longer, depending on our work load and the complexity of the piece. Please check with us for an approximate completion time.

Custom Designs average six months but may take years if the piece is extremely involved. Once again, check with us and we'll give you our best estimate. Please bear in mind that our work is entirely made by hand by the two of us, not mass produced.

Terms of Sale:

Items purchased from stock, as well as special orders of stock Items. Are guaranteed to please you or we will refund your money as long as you return the item within ten working days of your receipt of the item. The only exceptions would be in cases where, as in that of a ring; the piece was ordered in an unusually large or small size. The same is true of pieces where expensive stones are involved, or the piece requires a long time to make. In these cases no refund can be guaranteed, but we will work with you to try to arrive at a mutually satisfying outcome.

Your sizing mistakes are not covered, but we will again at our option; try to work things out. so be careful when selecting ring sizes. It is always recommended to visit a local jeweler and have your size professionally determined. If this is inconvienient you may request an adjustable ring sizer with your order. It measures full, half; and quarter sizes up to size 17. Just rember to size the largest part of the finger and not too tightly.

On truly custom orders or modifications of stock pieces, there are no refunds.
