Custom orders

We specialize in making special, often one of a kind pieces for our customers.
This process begins with dialog between our customer and ourselves to gain an understanding of the sort of design our customer wants as well as insight into the sort of things that our client likes and dislikes.

We will ask for a deposit to begin work on a wax or drawing. We frequently start with a wax because ideas and the design flow along with the sculpting of the wax to morph into creations that sometimes even surprise us as the design develops. Once we have a design in wax that is ready, we contact our customer and attach an image of it for their feedback. We then make any changes that our customer wants and send a final image or images of the piece for approval. We then make the piece in gold or silver and send it out after we receive the final payment.

We have excellent sources for diamonds, precious and semi precious stones that we have developed over the past 40+ years. We will also work with our customer's own stones but we can not guarantee them against loss or damage. We would like to, but having to cover the cost of a stone worth thousands for an order worth far less is just too risky.

Creating custom pieces has also taken us out of our normal realm of ideas and has become what I refer to as "adventures in jewelry making" We never know where a customer's dreams will take us?

Here are some wax images of a spessarite garnet flower ring as our customer saw it before it was cast and finished in red 14K gold

Here is a preliminary sketch of the book that I had made for the Beauty and the Beast bracelet. The book contained the story which I did in calligraphy and illuminated. The book also serves as the bracelet's container as well as providing several pages for those who inherit it to write their thoughts so that the bracelet provides its story to future generations.

This is a wax of a pendant that I made in 18K yellow and red gold. The last image is the pendant finished. The pendant was based on an ancient Celtic design that was placed in the corner of an illuminated page.

The next images are of a modern luckenbooth pendant's wax that I later made as a pendant and earring set in yellow, red, and white palladium 18k gold.

HHere is a hunt scene with riders and their dogs galloping past a castle. The chain continues the theme with alternating links displaying a different rider. The
pendant and necklace were made in 18K gold.

We have many more examples we could add but I hope that you now understand how we work with people when we make custom pieces for them.

The ring is just perfect. In reality, the ring is even more beautiful than on photos. I lack the words to express my gratitude to George and Suzan for their commitment and professionalism. Thank you once again!
George and Suzan, The ring arrived yesterday and all I can say is wow, what a masterpiece. So much more detail than what appears in the photos. I am so happy with it, thank you! And thanks for the great communication prior to my purchase! All the best.
Glorious!. A bit smaller than anticipated but also mightier in volume than anticipated, extremely beautiful. was meant for my right finger but right hand is always larger than left hand, so it's now hanging on my left index finger.
My wife absolutely loves both rings, the wedding band and the engagement band. George did a fantastic job and I couldn't be happier :)
There aren't enough words in the language to express the sublime perfection of this ring. It fits my fiancé *perfectly*, and he wears a quarter size! This ring is an absolute treasure, and both George and Suzan have been a joy to work with! I cannot recommend them highly enough! Together with the floral band that George made, this pair of rings is an exquisite wedding set, as intricate in meaning and symbolism as it is in design.
What an absolute joy it has been to work with Suzan over the last couple of months! I am in awe of her awesome talent as a jewler and delighted to have made a lovely new friend! After suggesting if a Bacchus cuff would be possible, Suzan came up with the most breathtaking design and worked tirelessly to make my bracelet just perfect! I can hardly put into words how beautiful my bracelet is or what a joy it was watching it's creation! Thank you!
Wow... What can I say about this Claddagh ring? It is sturdy -- nothing hollow or thin here -- and it is so well detailed on the hands and the crown. The band is nice and thick. This is an heirloom quality piece. Working with George was wonderful. I am truly proud to wear this stunning Claddagh ring.
This ring a absoloutely stunning!!!!! I was just speechless when I opened the box and saw the outstanding workmanship and quality of this ring! George and Suzan are a delight to deal with and made the overall experience such a joy! I am already very much looking forward to my next purchase! I can't thank you enough!
George did an outstanding job on my fiance's wedding band. We're both very happy with it. Just when I thought we wouldn't be able to find what we wanted, George took our ideas and ran with them to make a stunning custom ring. The detail is incredible, and George made this ring to last. karasutton

Perfection! Magnificence! Such intricate attention to detail! The most amazing piece of art to treasure for generations! Words are inadequate to describe the beauty this masterpiece embodies and the joy it imparts! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
